The International Coordinator manages the coordination and compliance of Rubicon Organics’ international product shipments. This role supports export readiness by handling regulatory documentation, import/export permits, and logistics coordination with internal and external partners. The International Coordinator ensures efficient communication, documentation accuracy, and compliance with global regulatory standards, enabling Rubicon’s international growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all documentation for international shipments (export declarations, import permits, certificates of analysis).
- Liaise with QA, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Operations to ensure compliance with partner market requirements.
- Track and report on shipment progress to ensure timely delivery to partners (Portugal, Australia, etc.).
- Maintain communication with international distributors and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor global compliance requirements under the Cannabis Act and foreign regulations.
- Update internal systems (ERP/ClickUp) to reflect international project and shipment status.
- Support the preparation of customs, logistics, and partner documentation packages.
- Escalate compliance or logistics risks to the Supply Innovation Manager.
- Assist with international market expansion by supporting partner onboarding, regulatory readiness, and cross-functional coordination for new market launches.
Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Quality or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 2–3 years of experience in export coordination, regulatory affairs, or supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with international trade documentation, customs compliance, and controlled substance regulations.
- Experience working with ERP systems and shipment tracking tools.
- Exposure to cannabis or other regulated industries considered an asset.

Compensation
